( damon's not about to leave bunny and merlo behind if he doesn't have to, and if they come kitty and monster might as well come too. being an animal parent is the worst. )
( again, something damon wouldn't usually do — normally, he'd leave it at dick's text and just show up entirely unannounced, but he's very conscious at the moment that dick could get sick of him and tell him to leave him alone and damon would have to do it. there are precious few people damon actually wants to talk to here, and dick is the most important one, so sure. he'll be slightly more considerate than he would normally be.
when he shows up at dick's apartment it's with two dogs on leashes in tow, bunny trotting along unleashed beside them, and merlo flying along behind. pls let him in dick he has too many animals. )

nonetheless, dick opens the door with a fond ) Whoa! ( upon seeing the whole montley crew, but it's with a bright smile that he gestures them all inside, holding the door for the whole entourage. things worthy of note are the puppy lab that will immediately run to bark and inspect all the new intruders, and the fact that dick seems all dressed up, just needing his hat and coat, as if expecting to leave soon. oops!! )
