( absofuckinglutely damon would be better suited to staying at home and feeding and fucking all day, but contrary to popular belief he is capable of thiking of people other than himself. dick has this look on his face like he's trying very hard not to look at damon like he hung the goddamn moon, and damon would balk under even the hint of such an expression, but... it's dick. similar to the way it is with elena, damon wants dick to adore him, to see him as worthy of that affection. it's still uncomfortable, but not as much as it might be otherwise.
he wraps his arms around dick's waist and hums an affirmative, nibbling on dick's lip. he's hungry, tempted to have a quick bite before they leave, but he wants to get out of civilization as soon as possible, and if he feeds on dick they'll inevitably get distracted. )

( he's been careful with assuming anything about damon since he's lashed back so hard last time -- but his affection, his kindness feels undeniable now, with each little bite at his lips and each returning kiss dick offers him, hands holding either one of his strong biceps. he's a lot softer than he lets on, but dick won't be foolish enough to call him out on it again. when damon steps away dick lets him go, and that's that.
he hovers near the door, helping himself back into his jacket, talking over his shoulder towards damon. )
Not bad. It's my backyard. ( or something like that. he shrugs. ) There's a map of it on your phone, but some areas of it are a little rough with disuse. It's very beautiful, though. ( but they aren't exactly sightseeing. they're running away. ) There are some springs. Some places off the map, a little bit more secluded, if you're interested.
